This just in: Here’s a great way to get free tickets to what is likely to be the last Northwest Flower & Garden Show. All you have to do is sign up, make the cut, attend the show, and then participate as a guest blogger on the garden show’s blog site.  Even if you don’t think of yourself as a writer, there is so much going on at the show that it won’t be hard for anyone to fulfill the blog posting requirements that go along with these tickets.

Thanks for posting this! I emailed them to see if they will let me be in on the deal. Might be something to mention at the meeting on Saturday, if you are able to attend? We should probably have a Garden Show discussion at some point if there’s time that day.

I wish I would’ve known about this before. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll still blog about it.

THANK YOU for the heads up-I was one of the chosen ones and they are giving us 3 adult tickets since I am going with my mom, sister, 4 yr old daughter and 1 year old nephew. Thank you so much!

Becca, Congrats! I’m glad you found your way to a bundle of free tickets. Please let me know when your blog report is posted on the garden show website.

If you make it to the show on Saturday or Sunday, please consider stopping by for my presentations. The little ones are bound to have fun at “Who Wants Garbage for Dinner” on the Sprout Stage. More on the talks here: http://www.gardenhelp.org/gardening-with-children/robin-haglund-at-the-2009-northwest-flower-garden-show/

    Again, congrats!

Are your free tickets still available??? I was lucky enough to attend last year and am bringing two newbies this year. Can’t wait to feel the joy!!!!

  6. rhaglund says:

Teresa, you’ll have to follow the link in this post and see if they’re still offering free tickets. I don’t have any to offer myself. Good luck.

It would be great to to get to the show this year again. I never miss the show. I am recovering from emergency surgery and have been out of work for 3 wks. So I could not afford this thois year. I am very interested in container gardening since I no longer have an organic farm to grow those veggies and flowers by the acres.
I am also happy to mention that I started a community garden in 1971 in Philadelphia and it still exists.Yeah.
I would hate to miss that blast aroma therapy as you walk in. Good for healing!

What do I need to do to earn a few tickets

Karen – You’ll need to follow the link in the post and check in with the garden show blog to see if they’re still offering free tickets for blogging and check into what they’re offering. Sorry to hear about the surgery and time off work. Wishing you a rapid recovery!
