Feeling like the garden is getting the most of you or just need a break from gardening to give yourself a treat? If you’re in Seattle, consider attending a special yoga workshop on Saturday, June 13th from 2pm-4pm at Northwest Community Yoga. Last year I attended this workshop focused on the needs of gardeners and athletes, and I loved it.

Yogis Relaxing and Restoring
Here’s the blurb I picked up on the workshop at my regular Wednesday night restorative class:
This workshop is basically suitable for anyone who would like a deep yoga practice that primarily focuses on stretching the hamstrings, quads, hips and groin. We will also practice some medium backbends and end with an inversion to facilitate a “well rounded” yoga experience. This practice will also be helpful to ease and release low back tension. All levels of yoga experience and practice are welcome.”
When: Saturday, June 13th 2pm-4pm
Instructor: Diane Anderson
Cost: $35
Where: 701 NW 70th St Seattle, WA 98117
