Good luck Kerry. Garlic is so easy to grow and so rewarding. I have several cured braids in my basement cellar harvested from last year's planting. FYI: don't count on a label in the pot to make it through winter. I failed miserably in that regard and vow to keep better records this year. I do know that the only garlic that failed completely was the one elephant clove I tried.

Have fun!

Great post. I've never grown garlic so am really excited about growing it in pots. I actually want the scapes as much as I want the cloves. I tried garlic scape pesto this year and now I'm hooked.
