Ironically, it's almost 80F in Seattle today, so summer's not quite done. Still, crop rotation is on here. We've got cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, lacinato kale, red winter kale, leeks, beets, chard and pak choi going in the garden. I need to get more moved out to beds later this week as I pull out beans and squashes that are about finished up. As well, I have lettuce and spinach cranking up too. I seeded corn salad, but so far 0% germination; I hope it isn't a wash. Sugar snap peas didn't do much, but I still have hope the plants will take off. And, when we take down another potato tower in the next week or so, I'll seed in more lettuce mix and some Mizuna on those. Sorrel, rosemary, thyme and sage will plug on thru the winter as well for us. And, in October my seed garlic should arrive to go into the garden to be harvested next summer; several braids from last year's harvest are stored in the cellar.
